ItisAJeepThing are those tax breaks unique to the oil patch or are they common ones availabel to most or all manufacturing sectors?
Are the direct subsidies givent to the 'green' energy folks available to others too or are they just for them alone?

The United States is currently the world's third largest producer of oil and is the world's largest producer of natural gas.
President Obama has more than doubled the amount of electricity we get from wind and solar over his first term -- and his plans for wind power are expected to help grow the wind industry to support 100,000 jobs by 2016.
Both Romney and Ryan want to kill the wind production tax credit, which could come at the expense of 37,000 American jobs.
Oh, but they would keep giving $4 billion in tax breaks to Big Oil every single year.

"Obama is a big phony who will say anything and make promises to get re-elected!"
And this makes him different than Romney/Ryan how?

Well I for one have benefited from the affordable healthcare bill and my folks pay less for their prescriptions, and osama is no longer with us, and people don't have to hide their identity to fight for our country, and we are not losing 500,000 jobs a crack, and we are bringing our troops back from the industrial complex made up war, and we added regulations (although watered down, by those patriots in the house) to the banks and wall street crooks, and... I know, I know we did not stop the war on women or make gasoline free, perhaps.

I though T Boone was on the Obama team, sounds like that Promised Change did not work out so good for him either.

Obama has let America down big time!
I don't agree with RecountFL. He clearly is Liberal & needs to read up more about Obama & watch the movie 2016 & learn about Obama's dream to bring down America & join the New World Order.
As for Clint he said it right last night: "And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go."

"BHO has spent too much time blaming the previous administration" and Romney already started. Haven't heard a single solution out of him yet. Every President is going to have faults, but no evidence that Romney is any better.
And stuff like, "Obama has only one strategy. Destroy our economy to bring this great Country to it's knees." Really? Grow up. As much as some of you hate him for whatever reason, I doubt the President took office with the soul mission of destroying a country. A country that was already on it's knees. If that was his mission and with all the Tea Party help he had, it would have been done.
If you aren't willing to bring a little more to the table than conspiracy theories, then you are just as crazy as Clint Eastwood. Like him you will find yourself speaking to empty chairs.

BHO has spent too much time blaming the previous administration and not enough time on solutions--unless you count trillions of dollars in pork projects to be a solution.

It is just so hard to read these things. Its like no one can tell the truth. Maybe they can't. Maybe there isn't just a single "truth", and it is just a matter of opinion.

At least Obama is consistent. Consistently doing nothing except spending money and not following through on promises. I can see why people want him re-elected.

I don't like Obama and what he stands for! And, I'm part African American so it has nothing to do with race. Obama is a big phony who will say anything and make promises to get re-elected! Just like when he got elected! He won't do what he says he's going to do! He hasn't yet! The economy is still in the toilet!

Obama “never does anything” to match his “all-of-the-above” energy rhetoric, said Pickens, during a panel discussion hosted by Politico at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
B.O. is not going to do any thing, unless it runs the country down....

There's that word again "failed" that is used in the same sentence when talking about Obummer and what his "failed" administration has done for this country in four years. Hopefully this country gets back on track in November by electing a President that knows how to lead and not just a good speech reader.

On an economic note, just dont see how our economy can take much more of the policies of this administration. Obama's energy policies are enough to drive us into depression. Obama and the far-left liberals have put the EPA and other goals ahead of the working family. I feel sorry for families and individuals making less money than me and trying to make ends meet. Very, very sad and troubling!

Not that I support the decisions made by Obama, I also understand the difficulties.
However, his "bail-out" deficit spending could have been saved and invested in alternative energies that might some day help us all, instead of save a few of the big elite supporters for making bad monetary decisions that got us all in the boat to begin with.
"Time for Change" I think was the slogan. Yep, we got it alright.

Obama has never given a crap about any energy production unless it has the approval of the radical environmentalists that he worships. I am ready for this country to have a real President in November, Mitt Romney. How about you all?

Many this morning have asked who did the most damage to the US, Carter or Obama. I think its pretty even. I dont think Carter tried to hurt us, he was just unbelievably incompetent. Obama, on the other, now hearing about this radical past and radical freinds, his ripping the USA all over the world, policies like limitting our off shore drilling but giving money to Brazil, etc, so they can drill and develope offshore, it's hard not to think he has done damage by design.
