Hello macbeth2012, The VX has the 1.5L, VTEC-E Engine. It swirls the incoming air, only 1/2 of the intake valves open under 2500 RPM with a 23 to 1 fuel air mixture (14.7 to 1 is normal) with a special combustion chamber and it has 92 horsepower.The trans is a 5 speed overdrive. I have the California model which gets about 6 mpg less; some people swap out the California computer for a 49 state after their smog check. Hello macbeth2012, Here you got a Prius; I bought a 92 CivicVX and get 41 to 43 usualy and my average is 49.25 and have gotten as high as 68.25 ONCE. It only cost $3 thousand so itsa poor mans Prius.
