Iran also moved their oil futures out of the US Dollar and into the Japanese Yen several years ago. They're in Asian markets pushing prices up as well.

Algae-based bio-fuels could replace up to 70% of our 'foreign' oil imports. It 'eats' many times it's weight in CO2 and the 'waste' product can be processed into food for animals. We also need to: cap prices, stop buying OUR oil and gas off the world market and regulate the speculators. Obama WANTS $6-7 a gallon gas.

Algae based bio-fuels only make sense after Oil is OVER $300 a barrel. Are you buying the Golfer in Chief's dribble wholesale or do you do any research on your own? One of my high school friends works for a leading Algae Fuel company and fuel from Algae is decades away from being available in large quantities and doesn't make economic sense to produce until Oil is OVER $300 a barrel! Moreover to even replace 30 percent of our gasoline would take up all US land for just Algae production!

My husband's going to replace my radiator when we get some money and hopefully that'll take care of the coolant leak until I can afford a new one. Luckily, we pay off our cars so we don't owe on them.
