I have to agree with a lot you say DT, It's just that every time Valverde steps out on that mound I am not comfortable with the situation. I think he may have some games left in him, but anytime lately he seems to just not the best choice. There are times that I think Leyland should rotate his relief pitchers for closing games out. They need to get rid of Valverde he's a bad closer unless Tigers have a 6 run lead or better. Send him back to the minors.

Tigers won but I hate Valverde they need to get rid of him. Do not understand why they brought him back.

yeah, I'm not to fond of my military days, so I just occasionally like to throw a barb out there with the interservice rivalries. I was very lucky to get tickets to the 5th game of the 84 series, I got to see Gibby put those two balls into the upper deck from centerfield, never been to comerica park but I loved the stadium so I'm not sure how I'd like it, I'd sure miss the old place if I went there that's for sure
